A big and long overdue hello from us to you!
As you can see things are a little different here at Red Robin Yarns but don’t worry we still offer luxury yarn and accessories like we always have done.
A Busy Few Months
Over the last few months I decided that I wanted to change the overall feel of Red Robin Yarns to something more ‘me’. Don’t get me wrong I was super proud of the website and logo I created but they were not exactly right for the direction I wanted the business to go in. It is very hard to describe a feeling but I wanted your shopping experience to feel more welcoming and natural.
So, I have been designing a new logo and a new website and I am SO proud of what I have achieved. I feel more of a connection with my Gran and the new logo is a homage to her. If you haven’t read the ‘About Us’ on our website go and have a look, this explains the importance of the robin red breast and what it means to me.
Winter is Coming
We have recently launched our Autumn/Winter/Christmas colourways, lots of inspiration has been drawn from the gorgeous foliage around where we live and take our dogs for walks, its my favourite time of the year. The UK is simply beautiful in the autumn and its the start of sweater season! Our autumnal and Christmas colourways have proven to be very popular, which makes my heart swell, thank you so much for your continued support. I know I have said this before but you are literally making my dreams come true, you really are.
Our Mystery Christmas Sock Set, which includes a 100g skein, 20g mini skein and lots of goodies is also available on the website. You have until the 26th November to order yours and they will be shipped by the 10th December. They make a perfect gift to yourself or your yarnie friend!

EU Customers
Unfortunately, due to VAT changes in July 2021, we are no longer able to sell our gorgeous yarn via the website. Don’t worry we still operate our Etsy Shop for our EU customers as VAT is charged automatically by the platform, this way nobody misses out. A link to our Etsy Shop can be found on the EU Customers page on our website or via the link in the bio’s on our social media platforms.
What’s coming up…
On December 18th we will be exhibiting virtually on the feed of Yorkshire Yarn Fest and I am nervous and excited all rolled into one. I really have a fear of doing lives and have my photo taken, I just hate it. Its not the speaking to people, I have no issue with doing it face to face but on the internet is permanent and there FOREVER. It maybe an irrational fear but I think it’s because I don’t love my appearance so this is a huge deal for me. I hope to see you there albeit virtually.
There will be a re stock of the shop prior to Yorkshire Yarn Fest and all the popular colourways will be included. Also, we will be giving you a taster of our Spring 2022 colourways which are BEAUTIFUL.
2022 will see us move into more of a rhythm and we have some exciting products launching, we are super excited to show you all but patience is a virtue.
